Donarell B. Elder has been the pastor of Way of the Cross for nine years. He was a Jonah in running from God. He finally accepted the call and proceeded to let God use him to the fullest.
Once he stopped running, Brother Elder was able to accomplish several things. Graduating with an Accounting degree. His first major employment opportunity came in Hartford, CT, working for a major public accounting firm. Other opportunities would come and he would open his own CPA firm. He eventually went back to school and graduated with a MDIV for Yale Divinity School.
He is the son of Hover Elder (deceased) and Anna Jewel Elder Burnette and raised in Athens, GA. Elder has one sibling, Bruce who now lives in Cerritos, CA. There were three children born to Pastor Elder two are living (Rebecca and Charity) whom he loves very much.
Elder identifies his ministry as one of showing forth the love of Christ which passeth all understanding.
